  • Some errors I noticed, can these get fixed please?
Summon Deepwater Hammerhead: "Summon... Onto the battlefield" should say "summon... Onto your battlefield."

Flashback: "from among Phoenixborn your opponent's control." This could be a couple different t things. Either-
    "from among opponents' Phoenixborns"
"from Phoenixborn under your opponents' control"
"from a phoenixborn under your opponent's control"
There might be more ways that work. But the way given does not work.

Also, is Pearl Conch Venom just a tad too powerful for the cheap cost? Just a thought. The deck seems really cool with a lot of synergy

Project Phoenix folks are actually debating whether to decrease the cost of Pearl Conch Venom (among other possibilities), because it's basically seeing no play in constructed at the moment due to its high cost. Unfortunately, a lot of the units you'd want to Deathstrike are immune to it (like Elephant Rider and Holy Knight), making it a pretty underwhelming ability.

  • Im a little confused with Deepwater Hammerhead's Blood in the water ability. You remove the Status tokens to prevent a Conjuration from being removed from the game and discarded instead, but don't Conjurations just go back to the Conjuration pile when they leave play normally? Under what context is this ability useful if I am correct?

  • harvest soul, chained creations and sembali grimtongue all come to mind.

removal from game is a big deal, especially with conjurations. if a frostback bear is destroyed, it is placed back into the conjuration pile. if it is RFG, then it is taken out of the game, and you only have three (3) left.

  • Ah okay, its a defensive ability, got it. Thanks!

  • exactly. in play testing, the sharks were really vulnerable to RFG effects since there was only 2 of them. we added this ability to try and add some defensive counter play for them.
