Just starting to experiment with deck building after playing a fair amount with the premade decks. Is this a feasible set up? Any feedback would be welcome.
This deck is mighty expensive. Lots of 3-4 cost units and spells, but no dice recursion at all. Sometimes raw power can get there, but I would look into reducing the overall cost of your deck.
Alteratively, you can include three copies of Expand Energy to help supply your enormous costs. Probably cut out 1 Dread Wraith and 2 Vampire Bat Swarms for them.
One good thing to calculate is how much your opening hand costs and how much you are going to be spending per turn. The Costs tab of the deckbuilder here can make that easier, by allowing you to choose your five spells and see exactly how many dice you'll require (along with how likely you are to roll a particular face of each die, etc.). You can also choose spellboard cards that you intend to activate every round to factor those costs in.
As a general rule of thumb, if your first five require 9+ dice without dice recursion, you're going to be in a tight spot if you ever face [[illusion]].
If you are just getting started on custom deck building, I would suggest the hidden power articles (found here and here)
