  3. Bound: This card cannot be discarded from your spellboard when you Meditate.
  4. Fleeting: Discard this card at the end of this round.

Comments

  • Since the card says "choose a unit" I can select a unit even if it's already exhausted from battle.
    Did I understand that correctly?

  • You are correct

  • Can this effect be prevented by abilities like ancestral army?

  • Ancestral Army can not become a target of a spell but Law of Domination does use the word "chose" instead of "target" which is different interaction.
Ancestral Army would only be immune if it would need to be a target.

For Example Meteor also hits Ancestral Army because it does not chose them as a target. Apparently they are somewhat immune to magic but not enough to prevent a giant bolder and/or dinosaur from hitting their face.

  • If a unit was exhausted, it could not deal it's damage, right?

  • If a unit is exhausted, it could not deal its damage, right?

No, you can choose exhausted units (and any unit really, as long as it is in play). That is why this card is so great. They aren't attacking, they are 'dealing damage equal to their attack value'. this is different from taking an attack action.

  • If a unit was exhausted, it could not deal it's damage, right?

No. They can still deal damage by effects such as this.
Exhausted Units are treated as if they do not have text on them (expect unexhaustable) and they can't be declared as attackers etc.

  • If the unit you choose has an attachment which adds attack value do you add that value to the attack or is it only the unit's attack value?
Also if the unit you choose has 'Power Through' attached will it's effect trigger of you destroy the unit or does it not trigger as this is not an 'attack', you are just applying attack damage?

  • If the unit you choose has an attachment which adds attack value do you add that value to the attack or is it only the unit's attack value?

Attachments modify the unit's attack value, so they would affect the damage dealt via Law of Domination.

Also if the unit you choose has 'Power Through' attached will it's effect trigger of you destroy the unit or does it not trigger as this is not an 'attack', you are just applying attack damage?

Power Through will not trigger, because this is not an attack (the units are merely dealing damage to one another, and Power Through explicitly requires an attack).
